It was only a matter of time before Ducati decided to bring something out that would compete with the Buell.
Of course, it's a few years late. But hey, This is Italy. Style is what matters. Not "time to market".
Actually the chopper-esque front rake is kind of like a Fatboy.
All that bike needs is some forward mounts, leather side bags, bitch pad and sissy bar, Ape hangers, solo saddle...

Yeah, that's the ticket. :hmm:

It is a Diavel, it does have a Testastretta and 162hp, it should be fast but that is a face only a mother could love... (now that I know it has 162hp, it is growing on me) :P

For comparison, this is a Monster.

Yep, Ducatis on and off since about 96... Most of my friends now ride Harley's they used to ask me to rent with them (we travel on business a lot) and I always told them when they could talk the dealers into renting me a V-Rod I would... 8)

Now Katherine wants a Fat Boy LO because it is one of the few things she can comfortable touch on and I have admittedly always had a soft spot for Wide Glides and Bad Boys...

So I could end up with:

I'm missing the resemblance to a Fat Boy? :hmm:

The older I get, the more I like old stuff, I guess we are all like that at least to an extent?

I still think the coolest ever RC car is the Sand Scorcher and firearm development stopped with the model of 1911... 8)

It would look a lot better with some different fenders on it epically the rear one... I bet someone will have an aftermarket kit for it pretty quick.

"compete with a buell."

No comment. :bdh:

oh, sorry, what were we talking about again? Oh yeah, the Duc.

You can thank Yamaha, Robert, for their, errrr, inspiring vision in creating the V-Qax. I mean V-Max. And then you can thank Suzuki for the B-queen. I mean B-King.

Both powerhouses in their own right, but downright fugly. And now Ducati is following in their footsteps.

Ya wouldn't catch me on any of them.

Especially when we hit the twisties. Well, you might on the Duc, Robert.
