I hate people who cant stop at stop signs

I let my girlfriend drive my 89 crown vic the other day and some old man just blew through the sign and nailed her,I was thinking on finding a new daily driver since I do it about every 3 or so years and had it 3 years but was thinking about building a 2wd full size bronco but not at this time of the year since it would have to be done outside. She had he youngest in it and no one got hurt but I am down a car so it looks like I will be driving my 77 F150 that has a 460 for awhile,it can be fixed with a new front clip which might happen to get me through the winter or depending on how much the idiots insurance company will give me I might find a 87 to 91 F150 or a E150 window van. I kind of like the idea of the window van since I can yank the seats to still haul stuff but still be able to haul passengers,my 66 F250 will be finished in the spring so I really dont need another truck and can get what I need hauled with the 77 for now. I need to get with the city about this as its a constant occurance and there are some small children living on that corner,thinking about sticking the mangled car on the corner with this is what happens when you run this stop sign or possibly kill someone writen on the windshield.

Glad everyone is ok. To bad about the car. Yup, I also do not think much of someones driving when they can't be bothered to stop where required. In this neck of the woods they used to leave the leftovers of bad wrecks parked here and there to make people think what could happen. I haven't seen it done for a long while.

It looked like the guy that hit the car was in his 70s.

I was a driver trainer ( 18 wheelers ) where I had a guy who didn't think you should have to stop at red lights and stop signs if nothing was coming. And he actually ran a red light while taking his driving test with a highway patrolman in the truck grading him. Needless to say, he failed and lost his job.

glad everyone is ok. I myself am guilty of running stop signs, but they are ussually out in the country on rock roads, and there is noone coming.

From a former OTR driver: to the patrolman!! We don't need buffoons like that trainee driving anything other than a shopping cart!

The weird part was that he done everything correct when I was training him. I guess he fell back to the old habits at the wrong time.
I had one stop at a sign and before I could realize what was going on, he went ahead and made a left turn in front of an oncoming red car that had to almost come to a stop to let him make the turn. If you know HWY 59 in Texas, you know it's hard enough to keep from getting run over when you're obeying the rules. AND, the red car was my wife. I still hear about that one.

I see a lot of that in Oregon. Not stopping and also not having a clue how 4 way stop works. ( right of way running in order of arrival at intersection.)
