Body mounts spacing.
This is the project that I've been working on for the last few years. I've had the 1967 f250 4X4 since 1970. I bought the running gear from a 2001 f350 4X4 and have installed the V10 engine , transmission, and running gear onto a 1989 f250 4X4 frame. Now I need body mount spacing measurements for installing the1967 body onto the 1989 frame. I would appreciate your input or maybe you can tell me where I can get this info. Thanks.

Re: Body mounts spacing.
spacing? you mean where to get the rubber mounts? or? you can probably buy the rubber mounts from the parts store. or are you wanting to know so you can do a body swap? if so i know the frotn 1980's 2wd cab mounts are in the wrogn place. and will have to be either moved or a mounting bracket extension made to mount one of our cab on the 80's 2wd frame.

Yep, body swap is what he is doing. And he's putting a V10 in it, too. I told him pics and a bit of a write up are necessary to give everyone here something to drool over.

Hiya Jim!
