co-op grip spurs on my 72 4x4
So I was able to locate a set of 9.00R16 co-op grip spur tires from Colorado and I wanted to get them on my hiboy to see how they would look. some background information is here.

Last night I rolled the truck into the shop after hours and proceeded to get things "rolling" so to say......

Re: co-op grip spurs on my 72 4x4
here is a few more pics....ill have to use a real camera to get good ones I just shot these before work with my phone. While the wheels were off a decided to paint them a offwhite and paint the hubs black to give it a cut clean look. I was kinda trying to go for the vintage look with the truck. What do you guys think???

Re: co-op grip spurs on my 72 4x4
Good morning to you Sir!
Its kinda differant all the way around, the truck is taller for one. I can feel the tires flex going over a bump . My old tires are acually new goodyear duratracs that are loadrange E so they were stiff. I acually took a drive up Empire Grade last night to try them out. Really I couldnt tell much differance. they seem to handle great. Thanks for the feedback!

Re: co-op grip spurs on my 72 4x4
Looks great! I have to say, I am really starting to dig the vintage steelie skinny bias truck tire look. It really makes me think that when I do buy tires I may go the steelie route. It just looks "right" for our trucks. Very nice!

All you need now is some tow hooks, and a "Jeep Recovery Vehicle" sticker!
