I am sure this has been addressed at sometime, but I want to know why and perhaps find a better solution. Why is the FAQ thread located at the very bottom of each forum? I think it would be better located at or near the top of the threads where everyone else starts looking first, perahps amongst the stickies. It seems to me that we want as many people to find the answers they are looking for before they begin posting. If they see FAQ's on the top, they may be inclined to click and browse through. Right now they are at the very bottom where they are virtually forgotten and rarely seen.
Thanks for reading and as always...

Re: FAQ on or near top?
It shows up at the top of the forum for me.
edit: I see what ya mean now. In the engine forum it's an announcement at the top, but some of the others it shows at the bottom of the page. In the "Engine" forum it is shown as an announcement, but at the bottom and in the other forums, they are shown as seperate forums (sub-forums, it appears).
Not sure if they can do anything about that with the forum software, short of making every post in the FAQ's, Archives, etc, as an "announcement".

Re: FAQ on or near top?
yes it should be at the top. even though i would not like it at the top. it should be at the top you are right. it would just mean scrolling down a slight bit more to read the forums. i would put up with it. all of the stickys could be put into it also. and it wouldnt really move the forums that much further down. putting them to one side wouldnt be proper. it may leave empty space on below them on one side of the page.
