Ford tailgate question
Has there ever been a Ford truck without some variation of the Ford name on the tailgate? A neighbor of mine just bought what is purported to be a '30s Ford bed, but the tailgate is blank.

68 Ford F100 longbed - the tow pig / TLC project
78 Chevy Impala - the race car
I'm sorry if I ask lots of questions, there's just a lot of stuff I don't know (yet).

Re: Ford tailgate question
A lot of the Re-man tailgates come without letters. Looking at my LMC catalog, a lettered tail gate for my stepside is $450 and the non lettered is $190.
