"Karen Elliott is the wife of Houston Fire Department, District Chief, David Elliott D-20/C. Karen was involved in a tractor accident approximately 6 months ago which left her paralyzed from the chest down. She has been through an aggressive rehab program and is restricted to a wheelchair. Karen was recently diagnosed with cancer and had extensive surgery to remove a very large tumor. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has had to be readmitted to TIRR for physical strengthening rehabilitation.
The truck you see in these pictures, a 1968 Ford F100, short bed stepside, 390 ci, 4 spd., was donated by a friend and will be raffled off on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 at the Bareback Bar & Icehouse located at 19940 Kuykendal Spring, TX 281-353-7501.
