Post by Thunderfoot »

I have never seen a Camper like this :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: And it is setting on a 72 F250.... Poor truck :( This is on the local CL add here http://boise.craigslist.org/rvs/2383144550.html

Here is the ad discription:

Hunter Special/Mother In-Law Quarters 18 ft cab-over camper w/tag axle
1973 Born Free cab-over camper- fiberglass hull.
18 Ft in length with tag axle and draw tite bumper hitch assembly.
A required designated bumper is included with the camper.
The bumper and draw tite hitch assembly connect to help secure the camper in the truck bed.
The camper is currently mounted on a 1972 ford f250 shown in the picture below. The truck is not included in the sale.
3-way refridgerator, roof air, shower, double sink, oven, stovetop, central heat, etc.
Needs a few minor things done, but is in overall good condition.
Better hurry this won't last long @ only $650 obo

Couple of pics I saved off;

That is a serious cab over camper! I wonder if that tag axle doesn't give any problems during a tight turn such as parking?

that would be one heck of a way to live permantly. too bad the truck didnt come with it at that price. moving something like that down the highway would be high on gas. but very heavy too i am sure. i wouldnt want to drive it.

I think you'll have to call the person who listed the ad on Craigslist...Thunderfoot (the guy who posted those pics here) doesn't own this camper.

But I'd sure like to! Wish those pics were higher resolution.

I assume that grille damage happened because the front wheels are hardly ever on the ground...

EDIT: Oh, never mind, I see that it has its own axle. Well, that looks great, then... :lol:

I really like this one because it has a side door and not rear. So when I'm pulling my trailer, I don't have to unhook or climb over the tongue when I want to get in it.
