Wow, I can't believe the passenger made it out alive. That truck looked pretty messed up.
Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

1969 F-100 4x4 Dana 44 w/ disk brakes and power steering conversion 390 c6 np205.
1970 F-250 97k original miles bone stock 390 np435 most original unmolested truck I have ever owned.
2001 F-250, Extra Cab, 4x4, 7.3 Direct Injected Turbo Diesel, Edge Programmer, Flowmaster 4" Turbo back Exhaust, 3" Leveling Kit with 33" Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs, and has 250,000 miles and counting.

Feel sorry for the truck, not so much the driver. Glad no one else was hurt. Noticed already that the deputies are under investigation, and the drivers family will prob sue the daylights out of the sheriffs office (aka: honest taxpayers) saying they should never have chased. poor old truck is all I can say

Thats oone way to avoid a reckless driving ticket i guess. Not the smartest way. I'm sure if he wasn't wanted for anything else he coulda just tooken the dang ticket. just another reminder that wall the thickness of the metal in these older trucks means you can withstand a tiny bit more damage than the newer stuff, They aren't invincable.


From the looks of his friends and family, i'd say he was on probation for something and any ticket could land him with revokation of that probation.

The only white and used to be white trucks in Cali I know are RobRoy (still white) and 1971ford (now red)

You dance you pay the fiddler sooner or later. That is one tore up bump. I am also surprised the passenger is still alive.
