Bump and Billy Bob

Billy Bob Thornton is filming "Jayne Mansfield's Car" here in Georgia, and it looks like a 68 or 69 two-tone Ranger will be in it. Saw photos of her in the paper, got to be a Fordification member's truck. White and teal green, all correct for a movie set in 69, except a Ranger then would have had white wall tires.

I emailed somebody with the production company before I saw the photos, offering up my 67 Custom Cab, but Billy Bob picked the right truck.

Robert Duvall and Kevin Bacon are in the film, too.

TWO bumps -- the two-tone I described above and a white one, all side mouldings, tie-down bars on the bed, no white walls.

I could not see the tires in the photo of the two-tone.

Man, my truck could have been a star!
