...well...it IS a clean truck, but that rear bumper???? What were they thinking??? Over priced? Possibly, but let's see if it sells...

it does look nice. he must have spent most of the 80,000 on paint and body. and it is also a adjustable wheel base. as well as adjustable gvw. huh thats funny. nice idea with the two toning of some of the areas. close up good photos has a lot to do with the auction price. as well as posting his phone number in the auction for easier way to pump up what the auction doesnt say.

$80,000? Really? That must include gas for him hauling it from shop to shop or something as I just don't see it. Sure it is clean and probably has a great straight body and paint but I sure don't see how he could have $80,000 in it. I myself don't really like it to be honest. That back bumper should be more narrow and at least chrome for that kind of money. I sure do not like the white air cleaner and valve covers. lol I hope he gets what he wants for it as it will help all of our trucks but will also drive up the prices of our parts

Beautiful truck but no way it was "rotisseried". The frame and suspension were not disassembled or cleaned before they were rattled-canned. I doubt anyone spent the claimed $80,000 restoring that truck, if so, I'm in the wrong business. :2cents:

Good day Stephen, thanks for posting that auction!

I agree that that's a really cool looking truck. Like others I'm wondering about the $80,000 thing. Maybe he's including the cost of tools (or a house with a garage)? Or a race horse?

I can imagine somebody spending $10,000 on body work and paint, $10,000 on a really nice engine, $5,000 on the frame and suspension, $5,000 on the transmission, driveshaft and rear-end, and $5,000 on the interior. And even after all that, a guy would have spent only $35,000.

I sure love those flareside beds though!!!

If someone was convinced to hand over 80g for that job, he handed some lucky guy a 60g bonus :o Nice work if you can get it
That third rate wiring butchery on the RH inner fender sure doesn't resemble any factory harness I've seen and makes me wonder what else lurks under that shiny paint. Great attention to detail (topside) though...

i wonder if he added in the cost of his labor - I would easily be at $80,000 if i did that and mine is still in poly bags

I would say that he is bidding on it himself on another account or from multiple family members accounts!
