I found an '87 Ch*vy pickup...with the holy grail of bucket seat mounts! This truck had an aftermarket bucket seat conversion, complete with a one-piece full-width adjustable bracket assembly, and the bucket seats and center jump seat were attached to it. It was a very slick setup, and the buckets were in great shape...but the top of the fold-down jumpseat, which had cupholders, was in bad shape. So I decided to just save the bracket assembly and seat tracks.

I pulled the seats and bracket out together, and then stripped them down to the bare bracket:

You can see how completely universal this bracket assembly is. The pedestals which mount to the floor can be moved inboard or outboard to what works best for a specific vehicle, and the mounting pads for the buckets are also slotted, to allow you to position the seat in just the right spot. There are two steel straps in the center for mounting the jump seat...or a console. With this setup, I can literally mount any bucket seat I want...in any vehicle!
..and the best part? This entire setup cost me a whopping $6.00!
