Slicks, Bumps and Dents

Post by HorseDr »

I'm new to this site, but I can't believe how much info is here. I've spent a lot of time reading through the old forum posts and keep seeing references to slicks, bumps and dents. I've figured out what they're talking about from the context but what's with this terminology?
Thanks

No, that's not right,

the slick is under the truck, usually green, black or red but sometimes a mystery color...

the bump is on your head after the hood latch bites you while looking for the cause of the slick

the dent is what you do to the door after getting the bump on your head...

must keep things in perspective...
