Odd forum behavior

Post by mrollings53 »

Recently I have been getting redirected to websites with questionable content clearly aimed at installing viruses or some other illicit activity when I visit the Fordification forums. I first thought that I may have caught something on my computer and it started acting up when I came here. But, then I check the website while I'm on break at work, and the next thing I see is a fake pic of Emma Watson nude. This leads me to believe that its not just my computer but maybe the website has been infected with something.

Has anyone else seen this, or is it just me?

Good afternoon Mrollings53,

I haven't noticed what you're describing, yet for the past day or so I've noticed that even when I'm logged in, photos uploaded to FORDification aren't displaying on my screen.

Instead, I see a link, like this:

And when I click on them, my browser gives this error:

Maybe these two symptoms have completely difference causes, but I figured I'd speak up.

My Norton firewall blocked whatever was on Fordification yesterday. I immediately thought the website had a problem.

Me too! I thought I just clicked on the wrong thing but then it happened again when I hit the login link. I've also noticed the same thing with the pic saying "attachment" Friday. Hasn't happened since though.

Also I've noticed that just recently quite a few members avatars are now missing and the words "User Avatar" appear in the actual avatar's place????
