Service Manual

Post by KRob »

Hey guys i am sure this question has been asked before however i am not finding any really good information on where to find them and on where to get the best deal.

For my other vehicles i have managaed to get full service manual PDFs off the internet for free and i am half way hoping that this may exist already for our trucks however since i haven't found it already i am betting i'm going to have to buy.

EBay, i think i was made aware of this by another thread http://www.ebay.com/itm/160584797138?ss ... 490wt_1037

and then these i found from a different thread http://www.gearheadcafe.com/servlet/Categories

What i am going off is price but anyone have any opinions or ideas?

Thanks
Rob

I bought original shop manuals off of e-bay. I did a search for the one I wanted and saved the search. I was notified by e-mail every time one came along. It was a couple of years ago but they normally were around $75 bucks. I think I eventually found one and did a "buy it now" for about $45. I really like having the hard copy rather than disks.

This set is cheap for $42 bux , but you are missing the ENGINE manual, one that you will mostly need........The pre deliverly manual is useless....It is used by the dealer prep man to get the truck ready for the customer...Check lug nuts, install wheel covers, bla, bla.. I have a lot of manuals, but I think that I may have sold my 4 volumn set.......I'll check over the weekend, if you are still looking
