Me keepum 68

Post by Mancar1 »

Some of you may remember me speaking about getting rid of the 68. Well it has been parked for a while with a good part of the inside tore out as I am going to redo and upgrade some widgets and gadgets. While walking around out by my shop in the early morning scattered light, sipping my coffee. It dawned on me. I miss driving my 68. So I realize what I needed was to not have it available to drive for a while to make me once again appreciate it.
Maggie and Ali are eagerly anticipating getting him back on the road.
I call the 68 a him. My late wife, 3 Daughter's, two female dogs, and a female cat. Nuff said

Thats good to hear your not selling him, I never got to drive my truck (engine was shot when I bought it then jumped right into tearing it down) I can only imagine the first time I hear that 390 fire up, let alone the first shake down around my block. I cant wait.

Yes it will be sweet, and worth the wait.
I like the sound of the Thrush I put behind my 390. I am thinking about 2.5" exh. It is now stock size.

So the description of the 68 with the dappled light sounded good. Got any pics of the 68? We can have a look-see and give you lots of advice

Glad to hear you are back into fixing it up.

That is funny you mentioned what you call the '68, I was driving to work today and I realized I have been calling my truck him.

I normally call all cars, airplanes, vessels etc.. girl.

But not this truck, it truly is a Mancar
