drip edge pic???

Post by DDfab »

I saw a drip edge pic on here where a guy just removed the sides and left the front. I have since found the post, but for the life of me i cant find the pic. I have looked at all post regarding this subject i could find.
Anyone know where it is. I think the truck was green.
Thanks

Here's one. Ooops, Just noticed you were looking for one with the front still in place though.

its official, i have lost my marbles.
I went through all my temp files. which was alot and still couldnt find it. It does appear on Fomoco's truck that his front is still there. Hard to tell on my monitor. That is the look i am wanting. I think i dreamed about the darker one.

My $.02 - I shaved my drip rails, completely. (IMO -No point in having on front ) BUT if I had to do it again, I would but differently, I'd weld on a real small tube and give the edge a slight uplift - this is just above the door, still see no point for having it above the windhield. I did see a truck with that after I did mine and it looked clean and it diverted the water from the door. Believe me the drip rail does serve some function, I have had my leg soak more than once now when I opened the door during a rain.

Wasnt sure how the complete removal would look with a dark color. The white one looks great. I think the color one really makes it flow on your two tone truck. I like the paint scheme. any closer pics of your front rail?

Alternately, Have you thought of shaving the front?
And leaving the sides so your legs don't get wet.
