Re: Sweet Pagani
Engineering has evolved so far. So impressive are engineers' abilities to continue to extract the best advantages of the rigid and tensile strength of metals and other materials, and to create new ones to suit.
Add to that the aesthetic needs, for which the Italians certainly have a distinct flair. All those pieces, so much to consider.
I wonder, how big a pile of metal shavings would it be for only 1 vehicle production?
An interesting watch, thanks for the link!

A 12 cylinder 700 H.P powerplant-wrapped in titanium impregnated carbon fiber-with gull-wing doors.
A little too fast for me-but what's not to like.
Thanks for sharing Bobby.

Re: Sweet Pagani
Thanks for sharing. The buildings and sculptures in the beginning are in Florence, I've been there and it is a truely amazing sight. Italians are fun, they have so much passion in everything they do. Our printing presses are Cerutti's and we had a flock of factory guys in to do some fire reconstruction the other year. Totally different mindset on a mechanical level, passion and craftsmanship were exuded by these guys. They probably learned as much from us and we did from them just because we are American and were working in a 24hr a day production enviroment.
The Pagani's are just incredible cars. You can see and feel the passion and love put into each one. 24hr to machine the emblem on the back. Beautiful work, artsmanship.

That is a wicked looking car, and I bet its a hell of a ride around the race track. But something tells me I couldnt afford the oil change in that bad boy, let alone the car payment.

Re: Sweet Pagani
Parts of it are pure art in fact every part may be pure art, the sum of the parts leaves me feeling a bit flat styling wise, it looks a bit like a catfish to me...
I seriously doubt I'll ever have to make the decison, but I will take my AMG motor in an AMG and my super car in Bugatti...

Re: Sweet Pagani
Just the thing to replace the crashed Zonda ;^p ... The Bugatti may be (slightly) faster in a straight line, but the Pagani's are (slightly) faster through the corners...
