67 F100 SWB Flareside

Post by conandaman »

Howdy all, i'm somewhat new to the forums and from browsing through them i have a feeling my rig is on the pretty darn rare side..
For starters the VIN # and registration say its a 67, but from what i've read 67's only had the knobs for the heater controls not the square box with sliders for controls.. and its a short box flare side which i'm gathering is quite the find, most folks here talk styleside. anyhow just testing the waters to see what i actually have and how rare it actually might be. It is a canadian truck aswell.

Cheers

What does the tag on the door jamb say? Or is it on the door? I can't remember. If it's on the door, it's possible that a '67 door was put on a '68 cab. I dunno.

If it's got sliders, it's a 68+ dash or cab. If the warranty tag in the driver door is wrong because of the swap out, you can order a new one with your correct "67" info on it, along with the correct rivets from a couple of different places.
