Been a while everyone, just checking in

Post by Caseys71 »

Haven't been on the forums in what seems like forever, the '71s on the back-burner for now unfortunately but has had small progressions since I was on here last. Not long after I vanished the Bump got moved to my grandfathers garage so it didn't have to sit in the weather and because he has a lot of room in his shop. Haven't really had the time to get on the computer or here in a while, have been working full-time as a cook since last summer plus cutting grass and building decks and that kinda thing with my dad so not much free time. I built up the red '85 Toyota I had and it ended up having had a warped head from the time a bought it so I sold it after I pulled the head and found out it was punched out .060 over. Since then I've gotten a '95 Toyota from a buddy that's been basically completely rebuilt and am now thinking about selling it since I'm done doing everything I want to do to it. Main reason I came back on here is to say hey to everyone, missed the forums and I'm thinking about getting a 4x4 bump or dent if I end up selling my current truck. Hoping to finish the '71 by the end of high school, I'm piling up parts as I find them just don't have the time to do much with them. I'll try and chime in more often now, and if any of you guys are looking to get rid of a 4x4 old Ford let me know .

Good to hear from you too Casey. There's a few more young men joined here recently that have taken the plunge into a bump also. Glad to hear your bumps being stored and not been "put out to pasture" like an old horse!
