I have to admit that there is just something nice about taking my truck worth hundreds of dollars through the area with homes worth millions.
Later that day I drove the motorcycle through too.

We don't have areas of expensive homes on the route to my house in Lake County, but I do drive by the shore of the lake when I get a chance. It might take me a few minutes longer, but the view of Mount Konocti in the background is worth it.
Yes. I live at the bottom of that hill and ride it often on the bike and drive it occasionally, this was actually the first time in the truck though. My mother in law just moved to a condo up on the hill (from West Virginia actually), on Saturday I got to go to Compton to pick up a load of stuff at the ABF yard and haul it to her place. As long as I was up there I figured we would take the nice way home (my 3.5 year old was in the car seat next to me).

Last time I went through there, we were driving home down the coast and it was at night. We stopped at a parking area on the side of the road. The view back towards LA is amazing at night! Not bad during the day either.
