Selling my 72 on eBay

Post by Phil105 »

Well guys/gals. I've come to the point where I want something else to work on and have decided to sell my little truck.
Thought some of you may be interested in watching it on ebay. For that matter, some of you may be interested in bidding on it.
The listing is for 3 days only as I am trading it next week if it doesn't sell.
I've really enjoyed talking with many of you in the last year or two and truly appreciate the help many of you have provided me.
ESPECIALLY NUMBER DUMMY. I hope you have a magic source for 1961 Buick parts!!
Here's the link to my listing for any who are interested/curious.

HA - I DO understand what you're saying - but I like messing with stuff that's a "little different" - - gonna redo a 61 Buick Invicta "bubbletop". Pretty rare car and, in my opinion, better looking than a chevy of the same era. Ought to be a good challenge.
P.S. - I still have a 52 F1 so I'm still in the Ford truck game.

Sounds cool. Always wanted a '61 Catalina bubbletop myself.

yeah Mike, I like those too. Both the Buick and Pontiac bubbles have better lines than the Chevy to me - and you don't see them as often. That's what really got me interested.
I'm tired of seeing the same old cars/trucks at shows/events - or even in my garage!

The price did not meet reserve. I dont think I have ever seen a bump go this high before unless it was a custom truck or crew cab. What kind of price was you wanting for the truck?
1967 mercury F350 7.3 IDI ats turbo kit c6 gear vendor overdrive 3.73s rolling on 19.5s
1971 sport custom on 1979 f350 highboy frame 460 c6 np205 dana 60s 3.54s
1974 F100 baby blue & rust 240 3 speed 3.70s sitting on the ground!
1990 F250 extended cab FI460 e40d 3.55s daily driver
Possibly looking for my next bump right now!
