SPAM

Post by TNIceWolf »

Is it just me....or am I seeing a lot more spammer posts on here lately?. I know that the mods are doing an exceptional job keeping them at bay. What I cant understand is why people just keep posting up e mail addys to feed the spammers. And just posting up a phone number is just plain dumb in my opinion.

One or two a day. It's a job for these folks, kind of like telemarketers. As long as they are not malicious or make a ton of threads I don't mind too much

If their signature has a link or the their post has links it just gets deleted and they'll get banned. If I read posts that just don't fit or are real generic by new people I just check their posting IP address and usually it's across the pond so they get username and IP banned.

If we were allowed to hang them their numbers would diminish.
