bump value?
I have two 69 bumps one is a f100 ranger camper special factory 360, & 3/4 ton suspension. The other is f250 ranger also 360 but not camper special. My ? is there any signifigant value difference between the two if both priperly restored. Cause the f100 would be a far more challenging project than the 250 . But if its worth more cause of it was a f100 with all options vs a 250 ranger would the value differnce outweigh the labor involved

It doesn't matter. These trucks are built because of the love for them. Profit is not a thought nor anything that could possibly be achieved easily. Most all here have way more in their trucks than they could ever hope to get out of them if they decided to sell.

I would love to spend, oh I don't know, maybe 100 grand restoring, frame off, customization, all that if I could. I don't even think thats possible, but really the sky is the limit. I think if you put 15 grand into that ranger because its trim package you might get the money back from someone who really wants it. Im not saying it will cost that much, but I know guys who have put over 20K in their truck and are still spending. I have seen a fully restored 1968 Ranger go for about 16-17k. Unfortunately its not like a yenko or gt500. Value might go up for them slowly, but restoration won't get you over 20K. But in all reality it comes down to the buyer.
Good luck on your decision, I hope you do it to keep them alive and around, you got some real nice trucks.

Just thought you may want to know, 1967 was the last year for the F100 camper special,so some one must have put the badges on the 1969 you have.

Nobody added any badges, its original paint the bed matches and has a toolbox in it,

FYI: Michael69 is correct...there were NO F100 Camper Specials after '67. Since your truck has an F250 suspension, I'd venture a guess your truck is actually an F250. If the title/registration says F100, you'd better compare the VIN on it with the one stamped on the frame.

Something definitely ain't right...we need to know if the door VIN, the frame VIN and the title VIN match. Also, where the C/S badges are located and whether the hood has F100 or F250 badges. Some pics would be great.

From your original description it sounds like you have a rebodied pre-'70 F-250 and the guys who did the swap installed the F250 camper special badges on your F100 cab. You would have to find the frame rail VIN # or at least measure how thick the frame rail metal is as the F250 was thicker vs. the F100.
Either way, it sounds like an enjoyable truck. Value wise, I wouldn't sweat it too much, even a very low mileage all original carries almost no value. You restore these trucks to enjoy them, not to make a profit.

I am posting ftom my phone, havnt figured out how to upload photos, the truck from my understanding is an a f100 with 3/4 ton option rear springs have proper dual rate springs for camper, camper special emblems are on the fenders near the bottom behind front wheel well..

Determining value is directly connected to what the truck is. All '68 & '69 Camper Specials have these marker lights.

Either way i appreciate the comments, i think i will take the one thats in the best condition and restore it and sell the other after i remove the drivetrain, seats and trim
