2nd owner 1969 F250 4x4 project
I decided to update my progress and noticed the image links were dead. Here they are re-loaded..............
I was fortunate enough to inherit my grandfathers '69 4x4. It was used as a farm truck most of it's life, and as such received some pretty harsh treatment. 8 years ago, I rolled it. I decided to restore it for him and post the project photos here for you all........
after 2nd round of media blast....
Since the old body and bed were beyond repair, I purchased this donor pickup....

Thats really nice to have the history of your truck especially knowing it was your grandfathers truck. It makes the project special and all the worthwhile in doing. I wish you my best with your project and I look forward to seeing the progress.

And here is the most recent progress.
I scrapped the original front axle and purchased this axle from a '77 (or was it '78?) 4x4, so I could upgrade to disk brakes. The old drum brakes is what caused me to crash it in the first place.

Those certainly aren't my skills. This is all being done at a professional restoration shop. They will be doing everything except final assembly and the engine. I stay away from the sheet metal and gearboxes! I'll be posting more as it becomes available.

Re: 2nd owner 1969 F250 4x4 project
It's been several years since I've made any progress with finishing the truck. I just received these today from a friend of mine that is exceptionally good with paint and bodywork. The truck should be all finished up with paint soon. I'll keep you all posted with the photos as I receive them.
