Whats the big deal honestly if ford still uses Twin I on the Medium Duty fords and the Mini bus chasis, why get the 04 and up cv front suspension? are the rims for the cv's that worth replaces the best ifs in the world? try to drive that cv where our old trucks can go i dare you the ball joints will break way before a kingpin or I beam will.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

We do the swap on our trucks that are basically retired as trucks. Twin I Beam suspension is a great TRUCK suspension. I do not use my truck as a truck. When I went shopping I was looking for a street toy. I have a truck I use as a truck. For the record it has the Twin I Beam suspension with ball joints (4x4). It is '03 & up on the CV swap. The main reasons it is so attractive as a swap is bolt in & cost. It is a very inexpensive IFS swap. It also has served some pretty rough duty in both police & taxi applications.

I bet you are just as pleased with swapping out the 9" for the MN12 or FN10 IRS. :D
