Everyone else is posting stuff from craigslist, so I thought I would jump on the wagon...

Now, would you pay 5200 for this?
I know the previous owner of this truck, and he got rid of it for the cancer it had, I don't know if they forgot to mention it or got it fixed.
Nonetheless I like it and would drive it, but probably not 5200.
Would you pay it?

Not to get anybody's panties in a twist ,but when I see the post's about a vehicle's worth......the better question is if it was your's....what would be a fair value
Where I live..that price is right on the $$ because of the lack of bump's in that shape. Everybody wants to lowball ya when you have something 4 sale....that's the nature....so ya better start a little higher than the price your considering your bottom line

I've had enough and I'm not alone

Re: Would you pay it?
The largest problem I see with the truck is condition vs price. It is a nice looking truck but when comparing I don't think I would call it a work truck any more so it wouldn't be that category. Be more of a weekend toy type & for that it is not really clean enough to warrant $5200. Now on the flip side I know what it takes to put 1 of these things together so I do know the dollars add up quick.

Thats what I am wondering, like I said I know the owner before this. It's name was purple haze, and it had a 360 with a 4bbl holley. I would like to have it. But I guess you can't always just go off looks.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of the bed cover

Re: Would you pay it?
If it is actually as nice as pictures, I'd say it's worth near $5K. Kinda high overall, but would really depend on rust issues. Hows the cab mounts? Original? cheapy repops? Inner fenders? Bed seam? The pictures don't really show much, leaves alot to the imagination.
The 1980's bed cover with the snaps in the bedside is kind a turnoff, I agree. As long as you keep it dry it will be okay. Let it get wet and it will rust to pieces.
I like long beds, so it is desirable to me. Others hate them and wouldn't take a second look.

Bump'n along.
