New Purchase

Well I finally did it. I purchased my first bump. I have had 5 or 6 Ford pick-ups before but this is the oldest I have purchased. It is a 71 lwb explorer custom. It has a 360 with C-6 and ford rear. I purchased it from a guy in central Mass but the truck had been brought up from Alabama, It is real solid except for a hole in the left front firewall which I should be able to fix with my mig fairly easy. Most of the truck is in etch primer and appears real straight.

I have been trying to decode the VIN tag but the exterior color is listed as B and there is no B listed in the 71 color code chart. The original color is some shade of blue. I don't know which one. And the trim code is listed as 1 4 I am not really sure what that is either. Any help anyone could send my way would be appreciated. I am just curious what the original color is I don't think I will paint it that color. I am leaning towards Swiss Aqua or Shenendoah green on top and Wimbledon white on the bottom. I will try and post a few pictures tomorrow.
