Do you ever feel bad?
I have been working on my truck again, and to finish it up I traded a gun for a 79 full size Bronco. The Bronco was rough but fixable if a person had the money. Well I only have the money to finish one project so I have sentenced the Bronco to it's doom as an organ donor. As I pull the parts out of it, I can't help but wish that I could just put them both back together! But I guess it is a good thing that parts will live on in my old truck!

I used to feel bad,but after wasting time and money trying to save the un-saveable a few times the pain is alot less as i take parts from a dead soldier to keep my ol'pig alive
- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood, some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox, behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame, rear end, rear springs, and rear bumper...

It's hard not to feel that way especially if the bronco is running or Atleast not far from it. I'm in almost the same situation as you because I bought a 78 bronco that needs a little body work and it would be beautiful. I had plans of fixing it all up but now that I have the bump plan the bronco may be sold and that is a hard feeling knowing it could go to someone that is just gonna part it out or worse hauls it to a junk yard. Since you are useing the parts for a good cause I wouldn't feel bad Atleast the parts won't be melted down and turned into a Prius engine!
