Tattoo Design

Post by sargentrs »

My son-in-law, husband of my baby girl and father of my granddaughter, is a tattoo artist and a pretty dog gone good one too. Well, they've been after me to let him do me one and I've been struggling with the design. I want some to represent America, muscle cars, gear heads and bumps. Been working on it a month or so and here's what I've come up with so far. I'm thinking across the shoulder blades and a fair size. Needs some finesse so I'm open to any and all criticism and suggestions. What do you think? P.S. Hope you don't mind my using the Fordification logo, Keith! )

I think it's a beautiful design, worthy of being worn by any true Ford person. Go for it!

Thanks! He'll fill in the bottom of the oval and the blue stripes freehand and I'm thinking the outer oval of the Fordification logo to be in silver. I'd like the "American Iron" in some kind of Block/Gothicish/Times New Roman font and colored gold.

That'll have to wait till after Christmas. With 11 grandkids to buy for, the personal budget (and the bump budget) is exhausted.

I hate to say it but seeing as its the land of the free and you want to be critiqued I think it does make a nice looking bumper sticker. As far as being a tattoo I am not so sure. Its your body and you have every right to do it and feel good about it as well. Doesnt excite me enough to have it permanetly inked on my skin. Its worth a chuckle anyway. Go for it.

Like I tell my friend's and other family members...Free, he-- no, as a matter of fact I expect them to pay extra. It's putting food in my grand daughter's mouth and keeping a roof over her head!
