Post by 69Ford »

I have lots of posts should I delete the old ones that take up space or leave them. Thanks

I really wouldn't think you would have the horsepower to delete any post.

I'd say leave them. Almost certainly someone will hunt for a quote they formerly read, then lo and behold, it was deleted.

You can edit all day long but not delete a post you've made. The moderators do an awesome job of cleaning house here on Fordification. The have criteria for posts, (maybe if it hasn't been viewed in awhile) that tell them delete.

I try to keep the general and engine sub-forums to around 6000 threads.

The database had an issue and we lost pretty much all the inactive threads from @2008 and back.

I wouldn't sweat the old stuff, it makes good reading and search fodder.
