Radiator core support
Hey fella's, I've begun the tear down of my 68 and found that I'm going to need a radiator core support. The truck currently has a 240 six cylinder in it with aspirations of putting a 302 in it later. I've looked at a few places to buy new one's but the freight is killer. Any suggestions as to where I can get one? I'm in central Florida by the way. And I may have to buy the piece that goes across the front of my hood. Any sources for that? Thanks, Gary
68 Ford F-100, two wheel drive short bed. 46k original miles, was a 240 six cylinder 3 on the tree. Changed to a 347 stroker with a C6, 03 Crown Vic front end, lunar green. Torn completely apart for a frame off fun daily driver project.

Re: Radiator core support
Never tryed to buy a new one so no help there.
Bump radiator supports have 2 different openings 1 for V8s and a smaller opening for 6s. The radiator support off 73-79 can be used on our trucks if you drill a few hole in it to mount it back like it came off one of our trucks. Theres a swap written up somewhere in the tech section to show you how to swap out a 73-79 support on our trucks.

I lived in the Lakeland area for six years before moving home here two years ago. You have several good boneyard down there around you that always have bumps in them. Also look at your boneyards over on the space coast as I frequented there and remember seeing quite a few there too. Seems like one stood out though that I'd call way...out on Hwy 50 bout 30 miles outside of Orlando. Fordification also has about 12-14 members in the Orlando area. Maybe post a "wanted" ad here on the site too.
