Also the motor mount on the driver side is bad, so the chains that you see in the pictures are there so the engine doesn’t hop out of the engine compartment.

I've seen a few variations of the engine torque strap, most using a turnbuckle like THIS ONE shown at FordMuscle.com or THIS ONE for Mopars made by Schumacher Creative Services.
The best way, though more expensive, would be a special piece like THIS ONE made by Ingalls for the Sport Compact market:
Another option is polyurethane mounts instead of rubber, like those offered by Energy Suspension. They're supposed to be stronger, but would transmit some engine vibration...just not as much as solid mounts. You'd also have to get the matching polyurethane tranny mount. I would suppose you'd have to call them to see if they'd have the set for our trucks.
