Hi guys. My name is Jon, I am an old Ford fan just getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus and selling most of my musclecars, which I can't afford anymore. So what did I do? I bought something I COULD afford and spend a little garage time with to get away from work from time to time. Anyway, this is what I have, you probably know more about it than me. It's 1970 F250 Ranger. I've been piecing it back together with original parts.
Anyhow, can anyone kindly tell me if the if the holes I have outlined in red are factory holes, and if so... what could have gone there?
Any idea what used to be here? Emblem?

What leads you to conclude that they a factory?
Are they on both sides of cowl?

Actually, nothing makes me think they are factory. But the holes are on both sides of the cowl and are very square and "exacting".bluef250 wrote:What leads you to conclude that they a factory?

Thanks TPdaniels. Looks like you nailed it and looks like I'll need to have a little body work done there now. Was hoping there was some rare badge that would make it easy. Appreciate the photo.
