I must say... I have been away from this site for a while since the truck has been collecting spiders. The first thread I click on just delivered... I have been looking for a 1:24 scale that won't break the bank. Thanks!
That thing's not all original. Aftermarket steering wheel, dentside plastic door panels, missing hood/cowl lacing, no starter solenoid and it doesn't even have plug wires. I like the way they relocated the hood hinges but you'll never get it running. Nice paint job though.

Great ebayer too shipped them fast and well wrapped bubble wrapped and in a box within a box. Even gave me an extra discount for some reason. They are really cool, Not much left original on my full size anymore, and it was when I bought it only 8k miles even had this tiny ground wire on the rock shield splash shield whatever you call that filler between the bumper and grill.
Has anyone done modifications to theirs? I bought one of the green ones through eBay for about $22. I lowered it straight out of the box. About a month later, I decided to build it into a mini version of my fullsize bump. I pulled it totally apart, filled in the holes for the passenger mirror, used my carbide bit on my Dremel to machine out the hood air gap that they forgot to add on the model, and sanded and painted it Lunar Green (since I had some left over from painting my wheels). I gently Scotch-brite rubbed the chrome on the grille and bumpers and resprayed them white. I hand painted the window rubbers black since my real truck has no chrome. I found some plastic model versions of steel wheels on ebay and bought them. The final touch was chopping the heads off of plastic push-rivets to turn them into dog dish hubcaps. I also hand-painted the door handles and lock cylinders back on. It turned out great and is a nice touch sitting on the dash of my truck at shows.
