OT - '92 Toyota Camry CV axle.

Post by sargentrs »

Just spent 5 hours on my back and knees swapping the passenger side CV axle out on my DD. What a PITA! I could probably do it in 2 now that I know how. I miss my bump!

Ohhhh I feel your pain :( After more years than I care to remember  it takes me a little longer to get down under a vehicle, and a lot longer to get back to the upright position. How are the creaking joints feeling?
Cup of hot liquid and a hour in the Jacuzzi helps some. Bought the darn spa to help my late wife. Now it helps me.
Did I miss something? "I miss your Bump." Does that mean it is put up for the winter?

I hurt in places I didn't know I had places. The bump's in a bajillion pieces and is slowly starting to resemble a truck again. Haven't lifted a finger on her since mid-December so I guess you could say she's been down for the winter. And wouldn't you know it, beautiful sunny day, warm and dry for the first time in months, and I'm working on a rice burner instead of my truck. Just no justice in this world. Now I'm too tired and too sore to touch her. Gonna go for a hot shower and I hear my recliner calling my name. :D
