parts storage
how do you guys store removed parts like thing that you might not want dirty ex: points/ignition systems once removed from the engine. I will be spending considerable time away from my projects due to the weather and my garage is unheated.

Things like a carb, I stick in a plastic bag and put on a shelf out of the way.

re: parts storage
You can go down to the local dollar store and pick up plastic bins with snap-on lids too, which will protect the parts. They won't hold up to a LOT of weight, but for smaller parts, they work great. You can also stack these if you have limited room and mark the outside as to contents.
Otherwise, just pick up some heavy garbage bags and some empty plastic milk crates, since these can also be stacked.

I like those file boxes like the ones you get at Staples and fold em together yourself. I put dabs of glue on the folding flaps - theyve got the holes for handles and stack real nice. Lable the outside with marker pen just dont stack with the bottom one on the concrete floor cause it will rot.

since this engine is small 125cc I guess I'll go with the bags.but do those things sweat? it seems like when I was a kid I would end up with soggy sandwitches If I used those zip-loc bags.

I normally just have mine in bags or containers laying around my car port or house. I get in trouble for car parts in the house. I have a clutch, pressure plate, and the rest of the slave and master.
