The '67 I recently bought is all stock. It was missing the front parking brake cable so I bought one from C&G. Got in installed today and when I pressed the brake pedal, the end of the cable attached to the brake pedal assembly came right off. I didn't have the cable very tight so I'm sure it wasn't because of too much force. So I wonder if I did something wrong. The tab at the end of the cable I bought was attached directly to the brake pedal assembly.
Or, bad quality part?
The end of the cable is frayed and I don't think the tab will go back on. In other words, the cable seems ruined.

Re: Parking Brake Cable
Called C&G today and the person I spoke to was very nice. It seems my new part failed and they're sending me out a replacement right away. Good service...
