Storm

Post by Twisted_Steel »

I hope that all of you who got this snow and ice made it thru safe. Here in north central NC we've got about an inch of snow and a lot of sleet. Roads are nasty slick, but my 4 wheeler doesn't mind a bit. 8)

Got snow and sleet here, just enough to mess up the road. Took the day off and been cleaning up and working on the garage a bit. :woohoo:

Road to work on the Harley with light sleet falling. It was 34 degrees. Will get to sunny and 50 degrees by the time I ride home.

Yeah, called for 4-6", might have gotten 2"... Old Cummins came right to life after being plugged in all night long. It wasn't happy in 5` the day before. Got a load of fence line firewood and really wished I had the camera with me when we were out. Truck looks really good out in it's natural element.

This was actually a good snow, it came down cold and dry, pushed easily and melted quickly once the sun came out. Still below freezing too.

You folks back East are getting all of our snow! Ski resorts closed, no snow on the local hills, damned little on the mountains. Had the air conditioning on today at the office!

Convertible weather during the days, if I didn't have to work.....

Just wait till this summer when we're filling flush buckets with shower water, taking short showers and watching our lawns die. There is an upside and a downside to this goofy weather.

Supposed to be cold out but it was warm enough in the cab for the fuel to expand enough to come out the cap. Had to take the truck for a ride to burn some off.

It's almost warm enough to take the Sportster for a ride.

I sure don't complain about the weather to my oldest daughter....... :nono: .....She lives in Alaska. When she says it is 32 out, she means below 0

Life is too short to put up with crappy weather like snow, ice, sleet, and humidity. This is a big country here seasonal climates vary far and wide. It's not like moving from the west side of the Ukraine to the other.
