Hi had the rear springs rearced about 4 years ago and should have had the ride height lowered about 1.5" plus or minus at that time. The front coils were cut and beams cold bent to get castor back in line at that time. Same shop wants $389 to rearc for a 2" drop or whatever I want and new u-bolts. I think I might just remove a leaf since I don't mind if I lose some rate with the drop. I have air bags, installed at same time...4 years ago, truck probably has 10k miles on it since then.
Anyone satisfied with lowering blocks to tune of 1-2 inches? Recommend a manufacturer/kit? Id be satisfied with 1, 1.5 or 2 inches, probably try 1.5 first if I had the choice for my case.

Re: Lowering blocks for rear?
Unless you've altered things back there, the rearend sits below the springs, so adding blocks right now between the springs and the rearend housing is going to LIFT the back end up. In order to use lowering blocks, you'd have to relocate the rearend (flip it) to the top of the springs. But that would also mean you'd have to C-notch the frame for clearance.

Re: Lowering blocks for rear?
I hear you. Hadnt looked closely. I could leave it as is but the expense is bugging me, when I could have done it correctly to begin with.
Any known new leaf packs where a dropped ride height could be ordered for these things? Probably cost the same, but at least Id have a new set and a spare set with stock height.
One of the reasons I want to lean it back or flat, besides looks, which I like better than the forward rake, if not excessive, is it will effectively add positive castor to the front end. The truck wanders after I did the disc brake swap and all the stuff to the front end...more or less due to lack of enough castor. Id rather not start messing with the front end again. if getting the rear height where I want it adds enough effective castor to make it track better, all done. I haven't done the math in a while but I think Id be adding 1/2 to 1* positive castor.

Eaton Detroit Spring offers lowered leaf springs.
The only DIY adjustment on the front end is toe.The beams would have to be cold bent to modify caster and camber.... and that requires specialized equipment.
