1970 Crew Cab Project!
Got the truck home. I'll tear into it soon. I'm open to suggestions on how to build this one. As of right now I'm thinking about a frame swap with a newer superduty. Making plans now...

What are your plans for using the truck? That is what will dictate how you build it. If you want a daily driver, then a frame swap to a late model SD is a great idea. That way you keep it all ford!

Cool truck. Dad wanted to find one of those cabs many years ago to drop on my 68. Glad he didn't, as it's not my style, but I think that thing would look great lifted a bit with larger tires. At least that's the mental image I get when I picture it on a SD frame. I'd probably have go take an extra step and make it long bed as well.

Crew cabs always look like they should be a dually to balance out the extra length. Very cool truck though. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
