Well after about 4-5 months of my 70 3/4 ton 4x4 not running smooth missing and backfireing its fixed!!!.......put my a new carb on new rotor,points,condenser, re checking and triple checking all wires i go and pump the gas peddle 3 times turn the key with the choke shut and RUMBLE RUMBLE its ALIVE!!!!!!!....alittle patience alot of trouble shooting and the motor is running like it use to....so after i finish puting my new bed and doors and hood back on....then I'll be opening my headers and maken some noise!!!!......then i'll be redoing my exhaust from the headers back......its a good day!!!

It's a great feeling to hear it come to life. How about creating a gallery. We'd like to see it come together.

update: beds off front clip on doors on(need to adjust the passenger)..Motor sounds realy strong like it should I do have a small vacum leak that i cant find...I'll be useing some Permitex on the carb to plate gaskets....it runs good but every so often doesnt wanna idle...And i hear a sucking noise...I got my big heavy duty (F-250 4x4 member) hitch and bumper on...next i'll be cuting my old muflers off (before i put the bed on ) and running new mufflers and dumping them before the rear axle...(headers are already on)..after i put my bed and hood on and adjusty the door..I will be puting a new Master Cyl.. and shell have her face lift done....after i install some new add-a-leafs to lift the saging springs>....thats where i sit now.....

cant afford MagnaFlow (want them) cant afford FloawMaster's (there ok) I aint sure, the glasspack niose has changed ,and I CANT FIND SMittys any where they sound GOOOOD not so much Glasspack sounds just sound good.....but no one sell them any more i guess , thats what i used to have on mine been on there for ever they finally rusted out...so gona go get some glasspacks and see if i like the sound i guess...I was already out side running her raw headers GOD i love that sound!!! just rambling...

well i got tons of jeg's and summit layin around why didnt i think of that thats what usually lookk at first.....any way I already got some....and they dont have the size i need at summit...(so it says) thanks alot for the reminder man..!!!
