Has anyone ever had a problem with the aftermarket emergency flasher switch not fitting properly. Purchased one and it doesn’t seem to be enough threads once installed to secure the nut. Threads measure about 1/4” long so once it’s installed in the dash and you put on the trim piece there’s no Threads left.

Re: Emergency flasher switch
Where did you buy your emergency flasher? I like to buy from NPD (National Parts Depot), I have been happy with everything I bought from them.
I also buy at NAPA for local parts requests.
Regards
EDIT: What year truck do you have? I looked up NPD and they have the earlier model that goes in the glove box, but I didn't see the later model that goes in the dash.

Re: Emergency flasher switch
Sorry yes my truck is a 1972 Ford F-250 sport custom 360
Bought it from The Truck Shop in Orange California. I’m sure it’s made in China.
Mine is in the dash.
Saw some reviews on Dennis Carpenter site and they said the same thing.
Thank You
