67 highboy frame
Is a 67 highboy frame the same as a 71? I know there are some minor differences between 67 and 68-72. I am looking to replace the frame on my 71 and have located a 67. Please help as I am about to purchase this and would hate to find out it is not the right one!

re: 67 highboy frame
They're virtually identical. About the only differences are some extra holes drilled in various locations for items not available in '67, but your '71 body will bolt right up to the '67 frame and fit perfectly.
The differences in '67 vs. '68-'72 trucks were mainly safety-related items...things like flush-mounted door release handles and heater controls. All frame dimensions, body attachment points, etc. remain unchanged in '68.
