Since the forums came back on line my Avatar has gone away and I have noticed others are gone too. I tried to put another in and no luck..............

Can you be more specific than "no luck"? Are you getting an error message? Can you copy/paste it here?

I tried putting in the same one and it comes out the same . It just show an X in a box............. I see that every now and then and always wondered what it was.

Can you be more specific about how you're trying to "put it in"? Are you entering in a URL to an offsite avatar or trying to upload it?
