I own a 67 F100 2WD Fleetside that I have had since high school. 23 Years. The frame has devloped some major cancer and I want to put the body on a 73 to 79 Frame.
Can anyone tell me what kind of trouble I am going to run into? I am told that the 73 to 79 frames are wider in the rear. How much of a headache will it cause? I love this truck and was hoping to pass it down to my grandson someday. The body is near perfect so updating the frame seems logical to me. Has anyone else done this with success?

Good article Keith!
I thought I'd read it before, maybe not.
My plans pretty much include the above if I can ever get the "rolling chasis" paid off.

Thanks so much for the advise and article. Sounds like a can do possibility. I'll get my disc brakes and power steering too! A big plus.
In about ten years I ough to have it finished and the Grandson can enjoy the pleasure of driving it.
