I have been reading the section on coverting a 4WD to power steering. I found this one at a salvage yard. I'm not planning on using since my truck is a 2WD, but I wanted to make sure it was 4WD only before I passed it up.
Good eye. That looks to be a power steering box from a half ton becuase of the coil spring front suspension. I'm sure somebody is actually looking for that box. Doug
The casting number you posted is off the torsion valve assembly. It reads as a 67 part number because the valve is the same from 68 through 97.
These boxes are a popular swap for EB's and obviously F-100 4x4's. Most swaps require you to swap out the ballnut for one that works in the opposite direction.
