topic reply notifications.

just wondering if there is a problem with those or something, because i always get notifications of topics that havent been replied on, for example,
the rear window im selling (no one has replied), i have gotten 3 topic reply notifications on it? but no one has replied.

i think the computer is playing games with me

I've never had that problem. Sure beats me. Are you sure it is topic replies and not private messages? If that isn't it, I have no clue.

maybe people have deleted there messages before you get down to see the message. i think i posted something in there but deleted it or i didnt post it at all.

Are the notifications you're getting notifying you of just PM's or are they also telling you there have been replies to forum threads you're watching?

sometimes ill get 3 reply notifications for a topic that didnt get replied on.

Hmmm....I don't know what to tell you. I haven't heard of similar problems with anyone else, so...

Of course, considering how often you're on here, you could just turn off the topic reply notifications completely.

AH! Yep, that's your problem....AOL. Topic and PM notifications don't work well (if at all sometimes) with AOL.

oh really?! i was kidding, glad i can blame it on aol though

hate aol. the only reason im using it right now is because i dont have to open a new page for mail. i am running aol through highspeed interent though, dial up is over with!
