well, like I didn't have enough to do, thru a friend of a friend I found an F350 Flatbed Doollee they wanted out of the yard.
after talking to my lovely and understanding better half, (who promptly said, and I quote, 'NO! FOR GOD'S SAKE NO!" I went and picked it up sight unseen.
Turns out a dually flatbed truck will fit on my trailer!
this is a second owner truck (father passed it to his son) that had all original papers with it, but the P.O. kept all that but I am getting copies of the interesting stuff (hopefully) and 73076 original miles!
not a lot of good stuff on this one, way too used, abused and rusty for much in the way of body parts, but I am going to use the rear dually stuff on my '72 Hiboy, so I can have a dually 4x4 wrecker with a locked rear axle.
looks like I will have some stuff to sell in a while. check out the pics and PM me if anything looks good. sorry I can only ship smaller stuff. no time to hit the post office ect. never open when I am in town.
360 eng. (blown?? according to P.O.) 4 speed. BIG flatbed on rear. have a clean title if anyone wants the frame.
I will be keeping the rear axle, but not the suspension, since I already have 1 ton stuff on the 4x4.
best way to get a parts truck-even if it is the wrong parts
