Anyone know how I can shrink down my pictures?

I'm trying to learn how to post pics on my posts. My wife is into photography so she has a fancy camera so all of the pics we have are like 2,000 and 3,000 pixels. To be on the posts they need to be under 800 pixels. Does anyone know how to shrink them down? Is it possible?

i use MS paint. comes on the computer. resizes pics fine.

Keith has a program linked here that he recomends too. many different programs.

there should be a link on the main page to a program called "PIXresizer, or you can look it up on the web. its free and pretty easy to use

If you are still looking for way to resize pics, I downloaded mine onto
Photobucket.com and resized them after I put them on their web
